Nike and Wieden + Kennedy asked Royale to create a 3D character of Li Na that could be puppeteered and captured in real time. The idea was to create a lifelike representative for Chinese media during the 2014 World Cup. Royale created more than 32 pieces of content that was distributed across CCTV, BTV, and through Nike’s various Chinese social media outlets.
I was in charge of 3D character design and lead modeling.
